James Flynn is Executive Vice President of Hunt Investment Management, an investment advisor with more than $3.6 billion in real estate assets managed. Mr. Flynn is responsible for the management and strategic direction of the CRE debt management business.
Prior to joining Hunt in 2007, Mr. Flynn practiced law at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher (GDC) in its real estate practice group. Before joining GDC, Mr. Flynn was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers.
Mr. Flynn is also President and Chief Investment Officer of Hunt Real Estate Capital, a key part of Hunt’s vertically integrated real estate operating platform, and CEO of Hunt Companies Finance Trust, a publicly traded REIT (NYSE: HCFT).
Mr. Flynn holds a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctor from Columbia University.
